At our Saginaw Walgreen's we have a huge flag and it never ceases to amaze me at how beautiful it is waving in the wind.....so as another 4th comes to pass, let's never forget that our freedom does not come for free. God Bless Our Troops and thank you, each and every one!

Home for the Holidays

Watching fireworks on the roof! We can see all the area fireworks, big and small. HOWEVER ~ after 4 MARGARITAS I had no business being on the roof!!!! Kids were perfectly fine.....Mom, not so much :) No, I didn't fall off.

We decided to stay home for the 4th of July for many reasons....

• We don't like other people endangering our children's lives by driving drunk! (If anyone's gonna' kill em, by gummy ~ we as the parents, get 1st dibs :)
• Too hot!
• Too crowded (the big city bites)!
• And we are home bodies and always have a good time here at the "big house"!

This was REAL DEISEL FIRE BOMBS added in with the fireworks!!! They went up like mushroom clouds and you could FEEL the HEAT! SOOOOO COOL!

On Saturday our "Chosen Family" invited us back to their communities fireworks display...put on by ONE man (this year he had a pyrotechnics team and his FORMAL commercial fireworks license ~ WOW)! Paid for by ONE man!!! This my friends comes out of his pocket, for his friends, and I am honored that we get invited. Lance and Krista hosted a ton of family and friends, lots of good food and as always GREAT FUN! It was soooo good to see Mary and Danny and my sweet Chelsea is grown...O~M~G!!!! She even took my car....OMG again! I found my chicken, thank GOD, it's the best bbq dry rubbed chicken found on earth and when I started I had 7 pieces on my plate! I was swattin' hands off of it like flies! Ya'll.... this show was as big and longer than the ones put on by the cities....and set to music too!

The bestest neighbors!

So.... Last Friday nite we had date nite with our neighbors and decided to take the kiddos. We went to Samurai Bistro for a hibachi dinner, which Kaleigh LOVES!!!! Then we went to the Harkins Theater in Southlake to see Transformers Two ~ Revenge of the Fallen. That place was so BIG, they actually had "Guest Services"!!! I still can't get over Daniel and his popcorn after that HUGE meal! I had so much fun!!! Thanks guys!

I Miss My Baby :(

Linz has been gone almost 2 weeks and I sure do miss her :( I've been redoing her baby scrapbook and that's helped a lot, but it's still not the same. I was going thru old pics and found this one at the bluegrass festival a few years ago in Grapeland....it's one of my fav's!!!!
