Christmas 2009 ~ Always Believe in Santa Clause!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
You know, as I soon become the mother of a teen I worry that pictures of childhood innocence will become boring, very shortly. So I played dress up with my sweet angels and away to the portrait studio we went.....and how special these "pre teen' pictures will forever be to my heart. Lindsey is growing into a young lady so fast and Kaleigh is fast on her heels....(tear!). It was so fun and there are more pic's to come. But when they're all grown up the pictures and memories are what we have to remember and boy did we make memories today ;)

Lucky Lady!

Hmmmm I wonder who these are for......no "to" or "from"....
Pink and camo, my fav's!
I don't know a single woman who doesn't L*O*V*E to see that pink box under the tree....goes good with camo, dont you think? I'm so lucky to have such a sweet man who rocks my world! And he's a GREAT daddy too which makes him dang near sticky! I love you sweetheart, you're all I want for Christmas....but I do love my Lil Bit!

From Worn out to Decked out! Finally!

EWWWWW!!! I've had 3 offers on it already!
Hot!
Yes..... it is parked in the yard, my handsome hill billy!

My poor, hard working man does without so much.....yeah RIGHT!!!! In the vehicle department this is very true tho. He is not one who appreciates finance charges or an intrest rate, that's y we have very little debt... But enough is enough, he finally broke (coulda been than 28 degree morning LOL~notice there is no back window or top on the K5 Blazer, it no longer exists. But he did like it...like I thought he would...I found it and thought he would look sooooo hot driving it ~ A New Jeep CJ7 with some sweet tires! And boy does he ever look H~O~T! But he looked hot in the K5 too...the men really loved that piece! It has one other GREAT feature...it'll pull the boat...yeah!!!!!

What was that term you used sweet cousin Mo???? My crash ass husband, hmmmmmmm ;)~

However that piece of S#%T K5 stills sits in front of our house!

Thank you Shelly for the idea....but in choosing to remember the events of the years past I choose to remember why those events were possible.

For my family, Shawn, Christopher, and Kimberly...Choosen family, Daniel, and friends Billy and Danielle and many many more, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you all!

New Christmas Poem TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE LIVED ALL ALONE, IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE. I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE, AND TO SEE JUST WHO IN THIS HOME DID LIVE. I LOOKED ALL ABOUT, A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE, NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS, NOT EVEN A TREE. NO STOCKING BY MANTLE, JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND, ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES OF FAR DISTANT LANDS. WITH MEDALS AND BADGES, AWARDS OF ALL KINDS, A SOBER THOUGHT CAME THROUGH MY MIND. FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT, IT WAS DARK AND DREARY, I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER, ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY. THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING, SILENT, ALONE, CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME. THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE, THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER, NOT HOW I PICTURED A UNITED STATES SOLDIER. WAS THIS THE HERO OF WHOM I'D JUST READ? CURLED UP ON A PONCHO, THE FLOOR FOR A BED? I REALIZED THE FAMILIES THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT, OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT. SOON ROUND THE WORLD, THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY, AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY. THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR, BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS, LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE. I COULDN'T HELP WONDER HOW MANY LAY ALONE, ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME. THE VERY THOUGHT BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE, I DROPPED TO MY KNEES AND STARTED TO CRY. THE SOLDIER AWAKENED AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE, 'SANTA DON'T CRY, THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE; I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM, I DON'T ASK FOR MORE, MY LIFE IS MY GOD, MY! COUNTRY, MY CORPS.' THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP, I COULDN'T CONTROL IT, I CONTINUED TO WEEP. I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS, SO SILENT AND STILL AND WE BOTH SHIVERED FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL. I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT, THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR SO WILLING TO FIGHT. THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER, WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE, WHISPERED, 'CARRY ON SANTA, IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE.' ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH, AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT. 'MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND,! AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.'

This poem was written by a Marine. The following is his request. I think it is reasonable.....PLEASE. Would you do me the kind favor of sending this to as many people as you can? Christmas will be coming soon and some credit is due to our U.S. Service men, Women, and Canadian Forces for our being able to celebrate these festivities. Let's try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what we owe. Make people stop and think of our heroes, living and dead, who sacrificed themselves for us. Please, do your small part to plant this small seed!!

AND...I love the sign with all my heart, it's so true. This hangs in my entry way so when you walk in and look up, you see it....and know that this house, our beautiful daughters, all the little angels that I love dearly and care for every day.....it's all possible because Jason and I fell in love. I take nothing for granted and I learned the hard way.

Ha ha ha! I crack myself up :) Mer Christmas!!!!

Well, there is good news and bad news about my Christmas decorations this year Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations…The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down. First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by. Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder and almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard. Kind of feel like I gave in to the man by taking him down but my neighbor did confirm two near miss accidents on the busy street next to my house. I think I made him too real this time So it was fun while it lasted

Baby puppy woes, sighhhhhhhhhhhhh

Lil Bit's a handful, that's for sure and house breaking a puppy just as winter sets in is no walk in the park. For starters I keep a clean house and wet dogs equal messy floors. Therefore, I'm going over my floors 2 to 3 times a day...Woody can hold it pretty good but since Lil Bit's bladder in the size of a pea ~ He obviously cannot! But this "little dog" ownership is pretty cool, despite the tired. He's cute and cuddly and oh so very sweet. I took him to Petsmart on Saturday and I bet 15 people had to hold him! I was looking for a sweater but no such luck, all too big :( I dont want anything gay or frou frou...my dogs a boy and I want him to look like a boy I just cant find anything small enough.

Excuse me....I'm STARVING!

So...I let Lil Bit out of his "basket" to play. As I went about my business, I walk around the corner and here he sits AS IF to say.....
My goodness, what do I have to do to get these people to feed me?
